Matt is an up and coming freelance professional photographer, he’s really getting a name for himself around the world taking pics in clubs and events, I worked with him one night last month at the TranceEnergy event here in Utrecht, it was great fun hanging round back stage, people give you a different look when they see you behind the security guard, kind of… are you famous and do I know you… great laugh!

Robert Moog, the gentle genius known to many as the father of electronic music, died at his North Carolina home today yesterday. He was 71.

mrsmule has a collegue ‘Has’ who is a DJ at the HardRock cafe in Amsterdam. On Thursday night I took up my laptop full of MP3s and Has showed me ropes, I helped him get set up ans he told me the secrets of playing at the hardrock.
played lots of soul n funk/rare groove/managed to sneak in some chemical bros and beastie boys. BlackEyed Peas/50 cent blah blah.. pretty mainstream stuff…. it’s gotta be recogniseable and its gotta have lyrics (no long intros)
Has is away on holiday for the 30th June and 7th July and is prepared to let the mrmule loose in the hardrock, covering for him….woOt!!!!
