“Spammers can forge the ‘From’ address on mail messages so that the spam appears to come from your domain. To help prevent this, you can add a digital signature to the header of all email actually sent from your domain. Learn more”

It’s dirt easy to do if you have already added your private domain to GAFYD and allows people to verify if you actually sent them that nasty spam message (which of course you most likely didn’t… did you!?)

Do you feel insecure about your current password solution? I did, so I got this Yubikey.
I was going to make a lovely write up and explain this new fangled device for you, but this is the internet and why rewrite?

From Wikipedia;
“The YubiKey, manufactured by Yubico, is a device that acts as a USB keyboard and provides secure authentication by a one-time password that is encrypted using the AES encryption algorithm with a 128-bit key.”

here’s some useful links to explain and get you going
http://www.yubico.com/yubikey

http://christiaanconover.com/yubikeyreview

http://christiaanconover.com/yubikeyconfig

Get one (or 2) and go explore the interwebs with a warm secure feeling in your socks!

AKA the Bollenstreekrit (there are also hundreds of other vintage cars on display)
As you might know, the flower park Keukenhof is one of the most beautiful spring gardens in the world which draws in more than 800,000 visitors from around the world in just 2 months.
On Sunday from 10:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m. the cars will be parked at the main entrance of the Keukenhof, at 14:30 pm the cars will take a scenic drive through the region. This will end on the boulevard in Noordwijk where we will be closing the Best Traffic Jam in the Netherlands (de Mooiste File van Nederland)
Here it is also possible to talk about the nice day while enjoying a snack and a drink at one of the many restaurants or beach bars.
Of course everyone is free in his or her choice to only participate in the ride, visit the park or both.

I’d much rather just have my wallet back thank-you very much instead of lugging round a suitcase in my pocket full of plastic </rant>

Someone tell me this is possible before I make a fool of myself at the checkout, .. also do screen protector make a difference (I’m not using a mirror type before you ask!)

It’s a Y-Cam Knight . We can now view the kids room over the internet, from a PC and from our phones.
It has sound /colour / night vision there’s a bucket of options for saving video to your local storage device or NAS and motion sensor email alerts etc etc.

We’ve not had a baby monitor since the old video one died a sorry death a few months ago. Basically we’ve been waiting for affordable technology and this ip-cam seems to be doing the trick. You need some knowledge of your router settings, port forwarding etc. But the tech support guys are extreemly nice and heelpful.

The kids get a new bedroom next week, we’re moving them to the attic, so they are even further out of ear shot, hence the need to install such a device, just now we can see it when (if) we go out aswell.

Basically if you have a gmail address you have 7GB of email storage, which you can fill with files/email attachments of upto 25MB in size. For something larger you may consider upgrading your gmail account with google storage , This allows you to store files of up to 1GB and you utilize your storage over all your google accounts such as Gmail, GoogleDocs and Picassa.

1. store files with a Windows Shell Extension for gmail (not an entirely useful way of storing your files, but it does the job and you get an email with the download link)

2. Upload/download files to and from your google DOCs account (yes this is the fabled GDrive) with Gladinet Starter edition (free if you don’t need sync capabilities)

Now go and back something up!
